James is an Advocate and Partner based in Walkers' Jersey office.

James specialises in trust and probate disputes and commercial litigation, including fraud and asset recovery matters. He has experience of cases before all levels of the Jersey court system, including the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. James has acted for trustees, beneficiaries and executors in a wide range of trust and estate matters including applications for directions, variations and blessings as well as in relation to breach of trust claims. Many of James's cases involve multi-jurisdictional issues.

James was sworn in as a Jersey Advocate in November 2015 having previously qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009.

James is currently ranked in the Leading Associates category in Legal 500 and is described as an "an impressive and savvy lawyer, able to distil and simplify complex and difficult problems."
