Sandy Welthagen is the Global Head of Product Development at Ninety One. Sandy joined Ninety One (previously Investec Asset Management) in 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa. Sandy relocated to London in 2022 to help build out Ninety One’s Product Development team. Sandy is responsible for Ninety One’s Global Product Range including vehicles in Luxembourg, United Kingdom, United States and South Africa across Fixed Income, Equities, Multi Assets and Private Markets. Sandy also serves as Executive director on several boards for Ninety One.

Sandy has over 20 years’ experience in banking and asset management industry. Prior to joining Ninety One, Sandy was at Rand Merchant Bank where she was in the Institutional Structured Solutions team for over five years. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and is a Harvard Business School Alumni.
