Aastha Mantri is an Associate Director at Economic Insight, and has over a decade of experience in advising clients on the economics of competition law and litigation matters, across multiple jurisdictions. Her experience spans all aspects of competition law and litigation, including mergers and acquisitions, market studies and investigation, abuse of dominance and cartel investigations, class actions and collective proceedings, and follow-on claims for damages. Aastha has provided evidence to courts and helped inform several significant rulings. She is trusted by her clients for her ability to respond strategically to rapidly evolving situations. Before joining Economic Insight, Aastha worked at Compass Lexecon, where she also specialised in providing economics advice on issues relating to competition and litigation. Prior to that, she held multiple positions at the Department for Transport, advising on major infrastructure projects such as airports expansion and high speed rail. Aastha holds a Masters in Economics (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
