Emily is a Partner in the London office. She joined Keystone from the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), where she worked as a Director, leading market and merger investigations. Emily has over 15 years of experience as a competition practitioner undertaking analysis, research, providing advice and overseeing the delivery of large complex investigations with a particular focus on digital and tech sectors. At Keystone she specialises in competition and behavioural insights within the framework of economics for competition, consumer protection and digital regulation, working closely in conjunction with technical and industry experts.
Since joining Keystone, she has worked on a range of digital competition, consumer and regulatory cases including advising clients and undertaking analysis and research relating to the enforcement and compliance with the European Commission’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) and the UK’s Digital Markets Competition and Consumers Act (DMCC) – covering app stores, AI, browsers, search and connected TVs. She advised on generative AI and search for large news organisations and advises one of the leading AI model developers on competition matters. She has also worked on several telecoms and AI mergers.
