Sébastien Gonnet is a Vice President in the Global Transfer Pricing Practice at NERA Economic Consulting.
Based in Paris, he specializes in the areas of transfer pricing, intellectual property, and valuation. For a number of years, he has advised multinational companies in transfer pricing system design and implementation, business restructurings, and intellectual property and business valuation primarily in Europe, but also in China, in a range of industries including industrial and retail clients and financial institutions. He also acts as an expert economist in advance pricing agreements and tax audits in Europe and China.
Mr. Gonnet is a frequent lecturer and has authored many publications on the economics of transfer pricing. He is also a frequent speaker at transfer pricing, intellectual property, and valuation conferences and training workshops, and has presented to tax authorities in Europe and China.

Before joining NERA Economic Consulting, Sébastien was an economist at KPMG. He holds a master of science in management from HEC, Paris (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and a master of science in international taxation from Paris II Law University.

Alain Bernier is Head of Tax EBS at Louis Dreyfus Commodities.
Most recently, Alain has been spearheading for different multinational enterprises (Fortune 500 U.S groups, Swiss blue-chip groups listed on the SMI and private groups) international tax initiatives and transformation projects. Alain has managed to significantly reduce tax risks in his sector, and has delivered effective tax results across the five continents in the area of company re-organisations and acquisitions, treasury, corporate governance, supply chain transformation, intellectual property and transfer pricing designs.
Notably, Alain has been instrumental in the Tax Executives Institute's activities. He was founding member of the EMEA Chapter in 1998, Chair of the Transfer Pricing Committee between 2008 and 2014, and remains an active participant in the TEI's advocacy about the revision of the OECD Transfer Pricing guidelines and BEPS initiatives.
