Mr. Liu joined the Board of Directors of the Company in August 2019. Mr. Liu is a professor level senior engineer with a doctorate degree in engineering science. Mr. Liu served as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of China Unicom Hunan branch, General Manager of China Unicom Jiangsu provincial branch, a Vice President and General Counsel of China Telecommunications Corporation, an Executive Vice President of the Company, the Chairman and an Executive Director of China Communications Services Corporation Limited which is listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “HKSE”), a Deputy Director General of China Institute of Communications and a Director of Global System for Mobile communications Association (GSMA). Mr. Liu is currently a Director and the President of China Telecommunications Corporation and a Non-Executive Director of China Tower Corporation Limited which is listed on the Main Board of the HKSE. Mr. Liu has extensive experience in management and the telecommunications industry.
