Dr Reha Çetin

CIO of IGA and General Manager of IST Systems at Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA)

PhD Reha Çetin was born in 1964. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Computer Engineering at Ege University and subsequently earned his PhD in the same field at Trakya University. He is married and has one child.

He began his professional career in 1986 at Ege University as a Research Assistant and Project Manager. During his academic career, he took part in Türkiye’s first High-Performance Computing (HPC) installation, the EARN (European Academic Research Network) connection project, and the Air Force Factories Management Information System (FMIS) projects.

In 1992, he served as a Project Manager at Bilpa – Yapı Kredi Bank. Between 1993 and 2003, he worked as Systems Manager at Körfezbank, IT Systems Manager at Bankespres, and IT Coordinator at Kentbank. From 2003 to 2012, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Global Securities and Investment Holding.

Between 2012 and 2021, he held the positions of General Manager at Aktek Information and Communication Technologies and CIO of Akkök Holding. In 2022, he served as Coordinator at SemperTech.

Dr. Çetin has extensive experience in holding company and financial systems, ERP, real estate management systems, manufacturing systems, information technology solutions, information security, e-business, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile and web applications.

In January 2023, he was appointed as CIO of Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA) and General Manager of IST Systems, an affiliate of İGA.
