Welcome from Debbie Millman and Cheryl Swanson #FUSE2010

Our thanks to our conference chairwomen, Debbie Millman and Cheryl Swanson for once again hosting FUSE. This year we're bigger than ever and we sincerely thank both Debbie and Cheryl for their commitment to the event.

This morning we heard from each of our chairwomen as they welcomed FUSE participants with short histories of design and popular culture, fueling us with the knowledge of the past and spurring innovation for the future. We heard about Debbie's childhood collection of candy packaging - really! Cheryl discussed the cycle of culture, attitudes and shifts in design sensibility.
