Anthony has over 14 years of experience in the life science industry focusing on process development, operational technology (OT) implementation, technology transfer, and cGMP manufacturing in biologics, cell therapies and regenerative medicine. He spent 9 years at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals developing advanced biologic manufacturing processes at pilot scale and transferring them to clinical manufacturing. Part of his role was developing and deploying OT systems including data historians, process monitoring displays, analytics and alarms, and knowledge management platforms. Ultimately, he led a team of engineers deploying novel process analytical technology solutions for advanced bioreactor monitoring and control. In his most recent role Anthony at the startup 3DBio Therapeutics he led process development, tech transfer and clinical manufacturing of a novel 3D-bioprinted platform. His team successfully manufactured one of the first-in-human 3D-bioprinted cellular cartilage constructs that was clinically implanted.
