Lorraine is responsible for building regulatory knowledge and Single Use process solutions across modalities and driving technical innovation through the regulatory landscape. Active in industry advocacy through BioPhorum and the BioIndustry Association UK with specific interests in standardization and simplifying the pathway for manufacturers’ route to market.

With over 30 years’ experience in the biotechnology industry, Lorraine specializes in cGMP contract manufacturing of viral vectors; plasmid DNA, mammalian cell-based products, cell therapy and whole cell bacterial vaccines for phase I-III clinical trials. She has previously held roles including Operations Director at Cobra Biologics (now Charles River) and Director of Manufacturing at BioReliance | Q-One Biotech Ltd (Merck Millipore).
