Thiemo studied biotechnology and received a PhD in bioengineering, focusing on mechanistic modeling of chromatography. In 2016, he co-founded GoSilico and acted as a CEO. GoSilico was a Germany-based software company, developing and commercializing the GoSilico software for chromatography modeling. Mid 2021, GoSilico was acquired by Cytiva. Today, the GoSilico software is the market leading solution for mechanistic chromatography modeling for biopharmaceutical applications.
