Marina R. James has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board since 2016. The Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board has been operating since 1903 and presently represents more than 2,230 real estate brokers, salespersons, appraisers, and financial organizations active in Winnipeg and surrounding area real estate markets. Previously, Marina served seven years as President and CEO of Economic Development Winnipeg Inc., promoting, and influencing economic growth in Winnipeg. Marina serves as the Chair of the Manitoba Hydro-Electric Board and is a director on the boards of Manitoba Blue Cross and Assiniboine Credit Union as well as serving on the Province of Manitoba’s Inland Port Special Planning Authority. Marina has over 30 years of executive management experience in real estate development and asset management, community economic development, business investment attraction, and tourism development.
