60 Seconds with...
Euan Munro, CEO, Aviva Investors
1. What is your personal philosophy?
Do unto others as you’d have them do to you.
2. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
I am a news junkie and I would love to step into the world of someone like Lyse Ducet the BBC Chief International Correspondent.
3. Disruption is always on the tip of everyone’s tongue. In your opinion, what is going to be the ultimate game-changer for the finance industry?
It is upon us, now that interest rates can’t fall any further, simple passive market exposure will disappoint badly as a return engine, and only fund managers that have skill will be able to make a decent return.
4. What's your favourite thing about Berlin?
The Pergamon Museum: when my wife and I visited a few years ago we were astounded at the splendour of the Ishtar gate of ancient Babylon.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Fund Forum 2016?
The chance to catch up with industry friends.
Euan Munro will be appearing in the Business Leaders Forum at FundForum International, taking place in Berlin, 6-8 June 2016.
