Valter Trevisani, Group Chief Insurance Officer, Generali
1. What is your personal philosophy?
I am a strong believer that personal success is the result of team success, which stems from being “all on the same page”. This is my motto. To me, trust and willingness to help each other among team members is crucial to reaching exceptional results.
2. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
I would be a professional motorbike racer. I love riding my motorbike, it’s like having an holistic view on what surrounds you, in a very dynamic way, as you constantly elaborate new pieces of information to drive it at your best. You are completely focused, in the moment. You are in the flow.
3. Disruption is always on the tip of everyone’s tongue. In your opinion, what is going to be the ultimate game-changer for the finance industry?
The ultimate game-changer for the finance industry will be technology evolution. And the game will be to anticipate it in our business decisions. The finance industry has to think on how to build its future, having the ultimate game-changer as an ally.
4. What's your favourite thing about Berlin?
Berlin is a vibrant city. I love its unique atmosphere originated by the fusion of its history with its present.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Fund Forum 2016?
I’m most looking forward to the sharing of ideas and different perspectives, and to the identification of new opportunities to build the future of the finance industry.
