1. What is your personal philosophy?
When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.
2. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Be the coach of the FC Barcelona on a Champions League final day, or even just managing the water bottles that day would also be fine.
3. Disruption is always on the tip of everyone’s tongue. In your opinion, what is going to be the ultimate game-changer for the finance industry?
When Apple, Google, Facebook and alike finally decide to act as a ‘bank’ by providing a full service in cash management, lending and investing with just a tap on your smartphone. Combine this with robo-advice and you democratise access to financial advice as all these services become affordable to a huge range of consumers, regardless of geographical residence.
4. What's your favourite thing about Berlin?
A creative startup atmosphere that is very much bottom-up driven and not yet dominated by big national and international industry champions or private equity players.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Fund Forum 2016?
Food for thought regarding our developments in robo-advice for fund selection.
