1. What is your personal philosophy?
Nobody can take from you what you give to others. Therefore, helping people is the best long term investment one can make. Since we started working on SharingAlpha, we received critical support from plenty of people that received nothing in return besides gratitude. I am confident that this type of behaviour is the key to a better world both from a personal and professional stand point.
2. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Magician. My kids would be highly impressed!
3. Disruption is always on the tip of everyone’s tongue. In your opinion, what is going to be the ultimate game-changer for the finance industry?
Transparent performance measurement of not only Investment Managers but also Investment Advisors and Fund Selectors will support Human-Advisory in the new era of Robo-Advisory. I believe that talented professionals who hold a proven long term track record will always have a place in the Financial Industry.
4. What's your favourite thing about Berlin?
The way Berlin overcame difficult historical periods and has become one of the coolest tourist attractions in the world, provides hope to other cities that are currently suffering from geopolitical unrest.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Fund Forum 2016?
Presenting SharingAlpha to different market participants and getting them on board this revolutionary platform, were Morningstar meets TripAdvisor... See you soon!
