60 Seconds with...
Trudi Taylor, CEO, Taylor Farrington
1. What is your personal philosophy?
My personal philosophy is less Dalai Lama , more The Jam- "What you give is what you get." I strongly believe in the service of others as a source of wealth and happiness.
2. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
A world champion formula one racing car driver- no doubt about it! Specifically it would need to be the day of the Monaco Grand Prix.
3. Disruption is always on the tip of everyone’s tongue. In your opinion, what is going to be the ultimate game-changer for the finance industry?
The same as every other industry, we will move through all the changes in process, regulations, equipment, technology and in the end find it is still about how we relate to each other as humans when we adopt these innovations. Learning the skills and practice of collaborative working.
4. What's your favourite thing about Berlin?
It is that for me it is yet unseen. It will be new. A the age of 45 and having grown up in countries all over the world I love the surprises you get when you go somewhere new.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Fund Forum 2016?
Learning more about the culture of financial services. I can't help myself, I am a behavioural scientist through and through.
Trudi Taylor will be appearing in the FutureFinance Forum at FundForum International, taking place in Berlin, 6-8 June 2016.
