Takaki Habuchi has been a researcher at NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO., LTD. since 2019, in charge of developing manufacturing processes for oligonucleotide APIs. His work focuses on improving these processes and scaling them up from laboratory-scale operations to large-scale production. He earned a master’s degree in 2019 in the Obika Laboratory at Osaka University and a doctorate in 2025 in the Wada Laboratory at Tokyo University of Science, conducting research on modified nucleic acids for antisense therapeutic applications. Across academia and industry, he has built a 10-year track record in nucleic acid chemistry.
