Mr. Toshifumi Kano is a Research Associate specializing in Process Chemistry at Sumitomo Chemical. He obtained his master's degree in organic chemistry from the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Gifu University, Japan (2015-2017). He began his career at Sumitomo Chemical in 2017, focusing on process development for oligonucleotides. He has gained extensive experience in developing oligonucleotide synthesis, including gRNA, and scaling up to commercial scale under GMP.
