The new Certificate in Public Financial Management will equip finance professionals working in your organisation with stronger and more relevant budgeting, financial reporting and financial management skills.
There are no formal educational requirements to beginning the Cert PFM.
It has been prepared for:
New entrants to the public sector
Staff with practical experience but without formal professional qualifications
Professional accountants moving into the public sector from the corporate sector or professional practice
If you already have a professional accountancy qualification, this qualification can be a valuable source of CPD, offering an opportunity to top up existing competencies with specific knowledge and skills around public financial management
COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATES
Delegates must meet two criteria to be eligible for the ACCA Certificate of Completion:
1. Satisfactory attendance – Delegates must attend all sessions of the course. Delegates who miss more than two hours of the course sessions will not be eligible to sit the Certificate in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (Cert IPSAS) exam
2. Successful completion of the course assessment.
Delegates who do not meet these criteria will receive an Informa Certificate of Attendance.
If delegates have not attended all sessions, the Certificate will clearly state the number of hours attended.
