Marion Bailly is Deputy Head of Unit (DHoU) of the merger policy and case support Unit at DG COMP, European Commission, since January 2023. Previously, she worked over eight years in EU merger control, including as DHoU in charge of merger control in basic industries, manufacturing and agriculture. Marion is a French qualified lawyer who practiced a few years in an international lawfirm in Paris before joining the European Commission.
