Luca Prete is référendaire in the chambers of Advocate General Laulhé Shaelou at the European Court of Justice, after serving also in the chambers of Advocates General Emiliou, Wahl, Bobek and of Judge Tizzano. Previously, he worked in the European Commission (Legal Service and DG Competition) and in the Brussels office of Skadden Arps. He regularly publishes and lectures on various aspects of EU law, with an emphasis on institutional matters, competition law, international trade, and legal remedies. Mr Prete holds a Law degree from the University of Bologna, a LLM from the College of Europe in Bruges, and was awarded a PhD by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
