Profile
Maria is Antitrust Director at the GSMA, a global organisation that brings together the mobile ecosystem. She leads the GSMA’s global antitrust compliance programme and advises on all aspects of antitrust law. She also leads the competition policy team, monitoring policy and enforcement developments worldwide, with a particular focus on Europe and the European Union institutions.
Before joining the GSMA in 2017, Maria worked at public affairs consultancy Burson, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, and the competition law department of Linklaters in Madrid, Spain. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Economics, as well as a master’s degree in EU and Competition Law from Carlos III University of Madrid.
