Silvia Modet is Senior Antitrust Counsel at Danone, where she advises on competition law matters across the FMCG sector, supporting strategic business initiatives and representing the company’s interests in regulatory proceedings. Her work spans antitrust investigations, merger control and strategic business counselling, and she plays an active role in embedding competition law across the organisation through training programmes and the coordination of Danone’s compliance network.

Prior to joining Danone in 2022, Silvia worked as an associate in the antitrust, competition and trade practice at Freshfields in Brussels, advising on EU competition law matters. She began her career at the European Commission, where she spent three years working on EU merger investigations in the consumer goods, food and industrial sectors.
