Alice Brancati is a qualified Italian lawyer and currently works as IP / IT Legal Advisor at Euroclear. In her role, she provides legal guidance on the development, deployment, and procurement of digital solutions, including those relying on artificial intelligence.

Alice holds a Master’s degree in Law and a degree in Transnational Law from the Centre for Transnational Legal Studies, a collaborative initiative founded by Georgetown Law School (Washington D.C.) and King’s College (London).

Alice has focused her research into the evolving intersection of intellectual property law and artificial intelligence, delving into the legal questions surrounding AI-generated content - from authorship and copyright attribution to the use of protected works in text and data mining for AI training.
