Alvaro Ramos is Vice President, Legal at Qualcomm, in charge of European legal affairs and Chief Antitrust Compliance Officer. On regulatory matters, Alvaro advises different business units on antitrust, DMA and FDI issues, handling filings (notably in the framework of merger control) and dealing with investigations and litigations across the world.

Prior to joining Qualcomm Alvaro was Legal Director at Cisco in Europe, dealing with antitrust, IP, brand protection, litigation, and trade issues across the EMEA region. Alvaro also worked for more than 10 years as an external counsel representing companies on issues related to antitrust.

Alvaro holds an LLM from the College of Europe and a Diploma in Economics of Competition Law from Kings College London. Alvaro regularly lectures at different faculties on antitrust and business strategy matters.
