Antje Prisker is the Deputy Head of Unit of the AI Unit of the EDPS – European Data Protection Supervisor. The EDPS acts as the market surveillance authority and notified conformity assessment body under the AI Act for AI systems of EU Institutions, Agencies and Bodies. She is a qualified lawyer and has previously worked at the EDPS’ data protection Supervision and Enforcement Unit and the European Commission’s DG Competition. Antje Prisker joined the newly created EDPS AI Unit in 2024 where she focused amongst others on developing the procedural framework and the governance structures within the EDPS to ensure compliance of the EU public administration with the AI Act.
