As the General Counsel, Eglė is leading the team of in-house lawyers, sustainability and E&C experts at Telia Sweden. She is also a member of the Swedish Executive Leadership Team. Previously, she spent 6 years in Brussels working for Telia Group as VP dealing with legal and regulatory aspects of innovation, new technologies and AI.

In 2019, she has helped Telia adopt Guiding principles for trusted AI and actively worked in Brussels with EU institutions related to drafting the AI Act. Having spent more than 20 years in the telecom sector, Eglė has lead teams as general counsel, gained experience in company law and regulatory affairs, corporate governance, was part of the executive management and the boards of various companies. Headquartered in Stockholm, Telia Company provides telecommunication and media services in the Nordics and Baltics.
