Emma Di Iorio is CEO and Co-Founder of Spriggun, an advisory firm working at the intersection of AI, data and cyber governance. She previously led privacy, AI, and cyber legal and operations teams at Diageo - including regulatory readiness for the EU AI Act and NIS2 - and built the Global Data Privacy function from 4 to 24 people across 180 countries. Earlier in her career, she served as AI legal lead and privacy regulatory lead at a US technology company, and before her legal career, worked in EU and UK policy. Emma has spoken at the London AI Summit, London AI Impact Summit, and IAPP London Summit, and contributed a chapter on AI governance to the 2025 anthology Shaping AI Without the Hype.
