A qualified machine learning developer and in AI for business, including AI safety and responsible AI, Kerry Sheehan is a globally renowned and award-winning AI regulation and business innovation consultant who has advised The Alan Turing Institute, technology companies and UK Government, including as part of a UK taskforce on AI regulation development.
Kerry’s experience spans the UK Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Office, Home Office, the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, tech, B2C sectors, including global brands such as Intercontinental and Coca-Cola.
Kerry, named in the top 100 women globally in AI Ethics, also advises and trains on what is required from leadership in the new and emerging eras, including AI regulation, AI standards, technical and non-technical workforce upskilling, including developing and implementing AI ethics principles.
Kerry, previously an award-winning head of service development and innovation supporting organisations (private and public) to design and implement new operating models to improve performance and outcomes, is a member of the Responsible AI Institute and the International Data Science Foundation.
Kerry supported the British Standards Institute in development of global AI standards, the UK Responsible Technology Adoption Unit on its public attitudes to data and AI group, bridging the gap between policy and adoption of AI4Good, and is an advocate of inclusion and representation in AI.
