Maria Boulieri is a Privacy Counsel at Chiesi Group, an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Parma, Italy. With a background in law and technology, she focuses on data protection compliance across various EU affiliates of the Organization.

In her previous experience in consultancy and law firm, Maria provided guidance to clients, mainly of pharma industry, on legal compliance matters involving privacy, emerging technologies and IP. She is currently a candidate for a Master's in Law & AI from the Brussels School of Competition, and she holds a second Master’s in International and European Legal Studies.

Maria is also CIPP/E certified, and part of the European Data Protection Board's Support Pool of Experts based on her legal expertise in new technologies. She is committed to understanding how AI can be integrated into legal frameworks to enhance privacy, ethics and compliance.
