Marion Panfili is the Head of the Economic Analysis and Digital Affairs unit within the French regulator of electronic communications (Arcep). Her unit is responsible, among other topics, for coordinating all work related to the environmental impacts of digital technology. Arcep has recently published a report on the environmental impacts of generative AI and challenges at stake, providing a set of recommendations for a sustainable development of AI in Europe.”
