Larry Green, Ph.D., is founder and CEO of Ablexis and AlivaMab Biologics. He brings over thirty years of experience in the development and use of transgenic mice for the discovery of human therapeutic antibodies, contributing to the discovery of at least nine approved antibody drugs to date. He is an inventor on more than 80 issued patents covering antibody technologies and therapeutic product candidates. He was a founding scientist of Abgenix, Inc. in 1996, leading to its $2.2B acquisition by Amgen in 2006. He founded Ablexis, LLC in 2009, where he has led the design, creation, and evolution of the AlivaMab^® Mouse platforms, which have yielded at least 34 antibodies advanced into clinical trials to date. He founded AlivaMab Biologics, LLC in 2018 as the sister company of Ablexis for the provision of advanced antibody drug discovery and engineering services using the AlivaMab Mouse platforms. Larry received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed postdoctoral work at the University of Colorado-Boulder and Stanford University.
