Brian Yost serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
He has litigated and investigated monopolization, price-fixing, no-poach, and merger challenge matters, including in the healthcare, energy, technology, agriculture, staffing, and retail industries. He chairs the National Association of Attorneys General Amicus + Committee, which helps facilitate multistate amicus and advocacy efforts. He also represents the Antitrust Bureau on the Illinois Attorney General's Health Equity Working Group. Before joining the Antitrust Bureau, he worked in private practice and clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. And before law school, he worked at a large electronic health record provider.
Brian earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University.
