Brian Yost serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
He is currently litigating large-scale monopolization, price-fixing, and merger challenge cases across the country, including in the pharmaceutical industry. Brian has also led or worked on merger and conduct investigations in the healthcare, energy, technology, agriculture, and retail industries, as well as multistate amicus briefs and advocacy. He represents the Antitrust Bureau on the Attorney General's Health Equity Working Group. Before joining the Antitrust Bureau, he worked in private practice and clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. And before law school, he worked at large electronic health record provider.
Brian earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Economics and Political Sciences from Northwestern University.
