Dan Hodes brings two decades of expertise in navigating complex legal landscapes across multiple industries. Currently serving as VP of Legal, Risk Management and Dispute Resolution at GitLab, Dan’s work encompasses managing litigations across various jurisdictions while establishing scalable processes for a rapidly evolving technology organization. Prior to GitLab, he served as Director of Litigation at CrowdStrike during the company's post-IPO growth phase, and as Assistant General Counsel at Hallmark Cards handling litigation and licensing issues. Dan also spent over 12 years in private practice, first as an antitrust and competition lawyer at Weil Gotshal followed by a stint at a litigation boutique in Kansas City.

Dan earned his J.D. from the University of California-Berkeley School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
