Michael Dailey is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Airgas, Inc., an Air Liquide company, a leading U.S. supplier of industrial gases, safety products and process chemicals. In that role, Michael and his team are responsible for advising in connection with commercial transactions, corporate governance, compliance matters, strategic transactions, crisis management, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution. In Michael’s previous roles at Air Liquide, he served as the Vice President and General Counsel of Air Liquide USA LLC and General Counsel of Air Liquide’s Engineering and Construction business activity in the Americas.
Prior to joining Air Liquide, Michael worked in the Legal department at BP, advising its Global Projects Organization on major projects (projects > $250 million) in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to BP, Michael worked in the Energy and Infrastructure Projects practice area for Skadden Arps Slate Meagher and Flom LLP in Houston. He also worked in Project Controls for Honeywell before and during his time in law school.
Michael holds a BS in Construction Science from Texas A&M University in College Station and a JD from the University of Houston Law Center.
