Peter Nelson is a Trial Attorney in the Civil Conduct Task Force of the Antitrust Division at the United States Department of Justice, which investigates and litigates antitrust conduct cases. Mr. Nelson has served as a lead attorney, chief of staff, and trial attorney on investigations and litigation in a range of industries and matters, including labor market investigations in the eSports and broiler chicken industries, information sharing in agricultural industries, and Clayton Act investigations involving technology and investment companies, among others. Before joining the Department of Justice, he litigated cases and counseled clients on antitrust issues and other complex commercial matters at a private law firm in New York City and clerked for a judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Nelson received his law degree from New York University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Columbia College.
