Profile
Rob is an antitrust attorney with both private and government experience. He spent approximately 15 years at the Federal Trade Commission, in the Mergers III division, where he investigated both mergers and acquisitions and alleged anticompetitive conduct in the oil and gas industry. He left the FTC in 2014 to join ExxonMobil as an antitrust counsel to ExxonMobil’s downstream business. A few years later, Rob’s role grew to also support ExxonMobil’s remaining business lines, including the upstream, chemicals, and low carbon businesses. Rob has been active in the ABA’s antitrust section and has spoken at numerous antitrust-related conferences, including on prior Antitrust Texas panels.
