Sarah Martucci Green is the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Academy Sports + Outdoors, where she oversees the company’s legal strategy and manages the day-to-day operations of the legal department. In her role, Ms. Green and her team provide comprehensive legal counsel on a wide range of complex matters, including regulatory compliance, litigation, privacy, cybersecurity, corporate governance, commercial transactions, logistics, real estate, and employment law.

Before joining Academy Sports + Outdoors in 2016, Ms. Green served as Associate General Counsel at Walmart, Inc., where she advised the Sam’s Club Merchandising Division on commercial issues, such as contract negotiations, intellectual property, antitrust, consumer protection, and supplier relations. She began her legal career in 2002 in Walmart's Litigation Division, focusing on HIPAA compliance and managing discovery for employment, tort, and pharmacy cases.

Ms. Green holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies, a Bachelor of Art History and Criticism, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas.
