Chris Carlberg is an Assistant Chief at the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where he investigates and prosecutes price fixing, bid rigging, market allocation, procurement fraud, and other criminal antitrust cartel schemes. He is based in the Antitrust Division’s San Francisco Office.
Mr. Carlberg began his career at the Department of Justice in 2016. Before joining the Department, he worked for an international law firm, representing both companies and individuals in criminal antitrust investigations, other government investigations, and related civil litigation. He also previously clerked for a federal district court judge in Miami, Florida. Mr. Carlberg is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and Duke University.
