Michael J. Lawrence is Senior Competition Counsel at Google Inc. in Mountain View, California. Michael primarily focuses on representing the company in antitrust investigations and antitrust litigation. He has handled significant competition matters for Google in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America. He also serves as the company's lead lawyer for IP-antitrust counseling.

Before joining Google in 2011, Michael was a competition attorney at Intel Corporation for six years. At Intel, he handled antitrust investigations and litigation. Michael began his legal career as an associate at Latham & Watkins, where he focused on intellectual property, commercial, and antitrust litigation.

Michael is Associate Editor of Antitrust Magazine and he served as Editor of Intellectual Property and Antitrust Handbook (2nd Edition).
