Mine Ekim is the Managing Director of Legal & Compliance at Golden Gate Global. She leads the legal and compliance efforts to support and strengthen the legal and compliance work of Golden Gate Global and Golden Gate Global-affiliated companies. With 15 years of combined international law firm and in-house experience, she offers business-driven counsel, adeptly managing complex transactions and stakeholder relationships, navigating regulatory approvals, and driving cross-functional execution. Prior to Golden Gate Global, she was at Dow Jones & Company, Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT), SNR Denton, White & Case, and Shell. Her expertise spans across technology, media, telecommunications, finance, energy, infrastructure, and real estate, specializing in a wide range of corporate, commercial, compliance matters, foreign investments, and cross-border transactions. She serves on the Public Policy Committee for the Invest In the USA (IIUSA), is a Fellow for the European Law Institute (ELI), and a selected Member of TechGC, Women’s General Counsel Network (WGCN), and How Women Lead. In 2023, she was honored to be selected for the Corporate Counsel Business Journal’s “50 Women to Watch” list, which recognizes women who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, business acumen, and a commitment to mentorship in their respective communities.
