Kepler Communications
Profile
Kepler was founded in 2015 with the mission to provide in-space connectivity services to help enable the space economy. Kepler develops next-generation satellite communication technologies and provides global data services with the intent on incrementally deploying products and technology in the pursuit of building the internet in space. With the launch of its first Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) satellite in January 2018, Kepler became the first to operate a KU-band satellite in LEO orbit.
Kepler's PolarConnect solution is the only satellite data service designed specifically for the poles. This includes a high-capacity data store-and-forward service that provides an economical method to move large quantities of latent-tolerable data around the globe. Gigabytes of scientific data, sensor logs, UAV imagery, video, media vaults and other data-intensive files can be transmitted daily, eliminating the need to wait for the operation to return to a network access point, or utilizing lower-bandwidth options at significantly higher costs.
