Benoit Duong is a coffee agronomy researcher at CIRAD (French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development). Currently seconded to CIFOR-ICRAF Vietnam, his research adopts a systems-based approach to investigate the agroecological transition of coffee-based farming systems. His work focuses on how biodiversity-driven and agroecological innovations affect the agronomic and socioeconomic performances of cropping systems, as well as the management of key resources such as land, labor, and capital.
