Huong graduated from Vietnam Forestry University and holds a master’s degree in development studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Huong has extensive experience in development sector, especially working in agricultural sector to promote sustainable agricultural value chains, advising on issues pertaining to climate change, environment, natural resource management and biodiversity conservation. She has practical experience in working with farmers and SMEs on developing sustainable resources and materials compliance with sustainable standards and principles.

Ms Huong is currently working as Senior Project Office for Agriculture Unit of GIZ Viet Nam. In the role as Technical Advisor, she focuses on facilitating stakeholders to work together for improvement of agricultural value chains, income generating for small-scale farmers as well as sustainable natural resources management.
