Trần Ban Hùng is is the Senior Program Manager for Vietnam and Cambodia at the Network of Asia Pacific Producer, a member of Fairtrade International. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading initiatives that are at the forefront of the fight against climate change and the promotion of environmentally sustainable practices in the agricultural sector.

Hùng has established himself as a critical figure in the coffee industry, promoting climate resilience and sustainable development, with over two decades of experience. He is the director of the Climate School and the Center of Excellence for Fairtrade International in Asia and the Pacific, where he is responsible for enabling 32 Fairtrade-certified cooperatives to implement regenerative agricultural practices and contribute to a more sustainable supply chain. The cooperatives' extraordinary €10 million in sales to the EU and US markets under his stewardship has served as evidence of the economic viability of sustainable agriculture.

Hùng's contributions extend beyond project management; he is a strategic thinker who has successfully developed the NAPP Climate Change and Environment Strategy for 2021-2025, thereby establishing the region as a leader in climate-smart agriculture. During this time, he served as the Focal Point Person of NAPP. His success in securing multi-million Euro funding for initiatives that combat human trafficking and promote child protection has further underscored his commitment to environmental sustainability and social justice.

Hùng is deeply involved in the incorporation of innovative technologies and practices into the agricultural sector, ranging from sustainable water management to digital traceability. She is a proponent of innovation. His endeavors not only mitigate the consequences of climate change but also enhance the quality of life for smallholder farmers by cultivating resilience in the face of environmental challenges.

Hùng, who has a Master's degree in TESOL Education from Victoria University, Australia, effectively combines academic expertise with practical experience to accomplish substantial results. He is a highly sought-after speaker and thought leader as a result of his exceptional contributions to sustainability, and he is frequently featured in national media and significant international conferences.
