Kumiko Ui-Tei is a Director and Professor at the NucleoTIDE and PepTIDE Drug Discovery Center, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Institute of Science Tokyo. She also serves as a Project Researcher at the Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo, and a Visiting Professor at the Center for Nucleic Acid Drug Development, Tokyo University of Science. She is a Co-founder and a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ANRis Therapeutics, a biotech startup established in 2023 to advance the real-world implementation of SNPD-siRNA therapeutics. In 2019, she received the Academic Award of the Nucleic Acids Therapeutics Society of Japan in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field.
