Since I was a graduate student who studied RNA viruses such as poliovirus and hepatitis C virus, RNA biology has always inspired me and my motivation to study. This Covid-19 pandemic, which is also caused by an RNA virus, had made my drastic career change from academia to pharmaceutical industry, in which I can devote myself to the mRNA medicine discovery using my more than two-decades of experience as RNA researcher in academia.
