Wendy Hartsock joined Aralez Bio as the Director of Strategic Partnerships in 2023. She brings a diverse background of industry experience with previous roles as Scientist II in peptide and protein drug discovery at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Sr. Medical Science Liaison in aesthetic and medical dermatology with Allergan and Amgen, respectively, and Director of Scientific Acceleration at CEM. Wendy received her Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry under the guidance of Professor Jane V. Aldrich at the University of Kansas where she developed peptide tools to study opioid receptors. She conducted her postdoctoral research with Professor Robert Hodges at the University of Colorado focusing on the development of antimicrobial peptides and universal Flu vaccines. In addition to driving business opportunities for Aralez Bio, Wendy is actively involved in scientific meetings including the American Peptide Symposium, the Boulder Peptide Symposium, and the East Coast, West Coast and Midwest TIDEtalks events.
