Profile
I am a State Prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of São Paulo (Ministério Público do Estado de São Paulo) and hold a Ph.D. in Law from Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE), Brazil. I am a guest lecturer and speaker at both national and international forums. I contributed to the drafting of the legislative proposal on cross-border insolvency, based on the UNCITRAL Model Law, which was incorporated into the draft of Brazil’s New Commercial Code. I served on the Special Commission of Legal Experts at the Chamber of Deputies for the New Commercial Code, and on the Federal Senate’s Commission responsible for the bill regulating the auctioneer profession. I also took part in the Senate’s Special Committee on Bill No. 8,045/2010 (New Criminal Procedure Code) and participated in a public hearing before the Economic Development Commission of the Chamber of Deputies to assess the practical impacts of Law No. 14,112/2020, which reformed Brazil’s corporate insolvency legislation. I am co-author of several books and scholarly articles in the fields of corporate and insolvency law.
